Peer-Review Process

The Editor-in-Chief will assign the manuscript to the Managing Editor for further handling. The Managing Editor will request at least two qualified scientists to review the research article manuscript. All manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-review, in which both reviewer and author identities are concealed throughout the review process to meet standards of academic excellence.

The editor or editorial board considers the feedback provided by the peer reviewers and arrives at a decision. The following are the most common decisions:

  • Accepted, as it is: The journal will publish the paper in its original form.
  • Accepted with Minor Revisions: The journal will publish the paper and asks the author to make small corrections within the stipulated time.
  • Accepted with Major Revisions: The journal will publish the paper provided the authors make the changes suggested by the reviewers and/or editors within the stipulated time.
  • Resubmit (conditional rejection): The journal is willing to reconsider the paper in another round of decision making after the authors make major changes.
  • Rejected (outright rejection): The journal will not publish the paper or reconsider it even if the authors make major revisions.

The length of the review process is approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Authors are asked to actively monitor the progress of manuscript review through OJS and be willing to follow the applicable process.

Kebijakan Peer Review

Editor-in-Chief akan menugaskan naskah kepada Managing Editor untuk penanganan lebih lanjut. Managing Editor akan meminta setidaknya dua ilmuwan yang kompeten untuk meninjau naskah artikel penelitian. Semua naskah akan melalui proses peer-review double-blind, di mana identitas penulis dan peninjau disembunyikan sepanjang proses untuk memenuhi standar keunggulan akademik.

Editor atau dewan editorial mempertimbangkan masukan yang diberikan oleh peninjau sejawat dan mengambil keputusan. Keputusan yang paling umum adalah sebagai berikut:

  • Diterima tanpa revisi: Jurnal akan menerbitkan artikel dalam bentuk aslinya.
  • Diterima dengan revisi minor: Jurnal akan menerbitkan artikel dan meminta penulis melakukan koreksi kecil dalam waktu yang ditentukan.
  • Diterima dengan revisi mayor: Jurnal akan menerbitkan artikel dengan syarat penulis melakukan perubahan sesuai saran peninjau dan/atau editor dalam waktu yang ditentukan.
  • Resubmit (penolakan bersyarat): Jurnal bersedia mempertimbangkan kembali artikel dalam putaran keputusan berikutnya setelah penulis melakukan perubahan besar.
  • Ditolak (penolakan langsung): Jurnal tidak akan menerbitkan artikel atau mempertimbangkannya kembali meskipun penulis melakukan revisi besar.

Lama proses review adalah sekitar 2 hingga 3 minggu. Penulis diminta untuk secara aktif memantau perkembangan proses review naskah melalui OJS dan bersedia mengikuti prosedur yang berlaku.
